About
The long version.
I design and build agentic AI systems. Senior Solutions Architect at EY, working at the intersection of AI, automation, and enterprise data. I am a strategist who can build, and a builder who thinks in strategy.
The Path
The Path
I started at EY at 19 as one of the few Somali apprentices in a Big 4 firm in Birmingham. I was promoted twice, from Digital Apprentice to Solutions Developer to Senior Solutions Architect. Today I ship AI tooling and audit automation at scale inside EY's Data and Intelligence Delivery Centre of Excellence.
What I Build
What I Build
Outside of EY, I build agentic AI systems. Voice-first agents, LLM-orchestrated workflows, the kind of tools that turn manual processes into infrastructure. I work with the modern AI stack: Anthropic, Vapi, ElevenLabs, Make.com, Twilio.
What I'm Working Toward
What I'm Working Toward
Enterprise AI strategy. Specifically, the intersection of AI capability, regulatory governance, and commercial outcomes. The kind of work that sits between the partners who own the relationship and the engineers who build the system.
Outside Work
Outside Work
Born and based in Birmingham. Away from the screen I play a lot of sport, get outdoors whenever I can, and travel to experience new places and cultures. I like trying things I have not done before, it tends to be where the most interesting ideas come from. Family and community matter to me.
The interesting work sits between the people who own the relationship and the people who build the system.
what I believe
- Strategy without the ability to build is theatre.
- Building without strategy is fragile.
- Quiet output beats loud positioning, eventually.
- Stay curious. The best work comes from trying things you have not done before.
